Your mother is the world's best mom!
She brought you forth into this world;
She raised you up despite hurdles;
She gave you love unconditional.

She nourished you and nursed when ill;
She taught you how to stand and walk;
She made you write and read and sing;
She loved you despite all your faults.

She made you know the world around;
She told you what is good and bad;
She showed you how to pray to God;
She consoled you when you got hurt.

And all these, she did for no fee;
She slogged for you and family's sake;
She ate the crumbs, gave you the cake;
She nurtured you so tenderly!
