Zapf Bat Poem by Justin Gildow

Zapf Bat

The Zapf Bat forms in front of me
In front of my own eyes
As gold coins from the floor drift up
to make its shape

I'm ready to attack
And so is the Zapf Bat

Whipping and running
The Zapf Bat flaps its wings in the air
While trying to rain down gold coins on me

After enough attacking
The Zapf Bat breaks up into 3 smaller versions
of itself

They flap after me
And I stand my ground
Continuing to attack

One by one
I deliver the 3 of them a death blow
And they dissolve in front of my eyes

A light flashes
Telling me that the battle's over
And that I've succeeded once more,
once again in defeating evil
And making sure that good would prevail
Once more
Once again
