Zoo Lights '21 - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Zoo Lights '21 - Lincoln Park Zoo

Just moved in and recently new
As resident in time and place
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Lots of dif'rent stuff to embrace
Now going on for holidays.
I hear humans call it Zoo Lights,
In dazzling, colorful displays,
Bringing loads of humans out nights.
It's fun to watch the humans here
'Oohing' and 'Aahing' this and that,
All filled up with holiday cheer,
As they pass by my habitat.

I'm ever awed by human stuff.
This lioness can't get enough.
