Ascension Poem by Gil MAHANEY

Ascension

Lucky lucky me
Fancy free if only
For a moment to be
Granted the gift of flight
To what rarefied station
Would I ascend taking my
Desires to loftier heights
Ah but then I saw you
Move long supple arc
Of your body lovely
Graceful display my
Eyes sweeping over the
Luscious length of you
Taking my breath away
Arresting all that non sense
I'd been thinking oh
Give me strength wings
To fly high reaching sweet
Altitude meeting you
Mouth to mouth setting
The sky on fire
Kissing you
Yes kissing you
All the way to heaven
