Bad Luck Poem by Laura Cummings

Bad Luck

Rating: 4.1

Trting to be brave
bit by bit
piece by piece
broken promises
stir fear
hating the enemy
thinking only of yourself
doing things 'for the best'
doing things for personal gain more like
brushing my hair
combing out the lugs
the knots will always be there
looking at the enemy
facing my worst fears
kissing death on the cheack
looking at the enemy
staring at her straight in the face
as i glare in hatred
the glass shatters
another seven years of bad luck.

Ahh, so you feel that you are your own worse enemy? Very clever.: -)
