Black Man Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Black Man

I try to remain among
Even if they prove me wrong
I sell no false songs for cheers
But make them to hear

Even though I am black
They make open jokes
Try to irritate
With all filthy stories to relate

What even if they pay no attention!
Disregard and make no mention
For me color is no concern
i want all them realize and return

humanity is such a big religion
where you feel woes of people in region
who goes to wipe out their tears?
No one, if I speak truth with fear

We have no means to help more
Rich people can afford to snore
But from where else we can expect?
This is reality and fact

We have shed enough blood
Let us worry about food
People are living under open sky
We need to think about them and try
