Haunted Poem by Heather Devlin

Haunted

Rating: 4.0

Broken here and all alone,
Sitting, rotting in this 'home',
Watching you just waste your life,
Waiting for things to go right,
You see me and I see you,
Both of us know what to do,
Yet here i sit and there you wait,
Broken by this cold hard fate,
You run away from all you know,
But there is no place to go,
You killed me and now i laugh,
As you're haunted by your past.

This is such a creative thing I almost gave it a 9, but it is also less well written than I believe it could have been so I stuck with a safe 8. It's still consistent with the title and it does have a spooky quality. The kind of thing people might enjoy. GW62
