Lemon Tree Poem by Raihan sharif

Lemon Tree

Rating: 4.0

Oh my little lemon tree!
Teach me
How you play and laugh.
I've forgot to be easy, simple, adventurous
Like a fluttering leaf
On a windy day.

Oh my little lemon tree! Tell me
How you grudge and strike
I've forgot to be angry, cruel and insurrectionist!
Like a bow pulled to it's maximum.

If this is the role of the lemon tree, then it must take the blame for our suffering. GW62
