Night after night
I've prayed that God would send you my way
Standing over high hills waiting for your return
Seems like it will never come but I'm not gonna give into doubt

Your still vivid in my mind
I need you in my life
I wish you touched my shoulder and looked at me
Hug me and we'd run away

Night after night
I've prayed god would send you my way
So I can have you to myself
Staying up until 4, spending my Christmas alone, sleeping alone
This phase will pass and you'll be with me
