The Other Side Of Midnight Poem by Angel Joseph

The Other Side Of Midnight

He loitered in the world of blue and pink,
gradually life made it difficult for him to blink.
Right nor left but forward to win the race,
because taught by his mates to always shoot an ace.
Dreams turned into nightmare was not something he want,
fears or ghosts were now not the only things that haunt.

Perplexed and confused he now had to unfold,
no time left their wishes into him they mold.
His dreams no longer known as it shattered,
their goals they made him feel so flattered.
He now knew that it is their air which he breath.
hopless knowing that on his dreams are wreath.
On their wishes he is doing his best to try,
yet someday for his dreams from this place he will fly
