The Space Between Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

The Space Between

Emptiness is suspend in the branches
of a darkened defoliated tree standing
against a glowing moonlit sky... inducing
thoughts of the past that are expanding

As a quiet calmness blankets my mind
all restlessness drifts into a deep sleep
Dreaming of loved ones far beyond reach…
haunting memories that are mine to keep

An undying affection continues to exist...
filled with images and emotions to explore
once more…such fond loneliness dwells in
the empty space between now and before
