Tragic Poem by Judy Hill

Tragic

Rating: 5.0

The tragedy of his disappearance,
The thought of never seeing him again,
Why do I have to deal with the pain of
loosing my friend.

He was my shoulder to cry on,
My breath of fresh air,
Now he’s gone there’s nobody
there.

At first we were just good friends,
Went out to different places,
We talked about some of the people
in our life and there many faces.

He had a voice so beautiful it could
make a deaf person hear,
When he use to sing to me it would
take away all my fears.

One night we were sitting around
by a fire place talking about what
we wanted in life,
He told me that one day he would
make me his wife.

Time went on and our feelings got
stronger,
One night we end up making love,
For each other our body did hunger.

One night I got a call from my friends
mother she seemed upset,
She said my friend was gone,
I didn’t want to hear the rest.

All I can say is when they lowered
him in the ground,
My heart, body, and soul broke
down.

Now I sit with my stomach swollen,
In six months I will have his son,
Whom I will have to tell about his father
who was killed by a gun.
