Yesterday When I Was Young Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Yesterday When I Was Young

Yesterday When I Was Young

I put souls and all memories in a time capsules,
One day to return home to that fire and imaginations of the once young,

Once fair in spring through their distancesspoked of romance of faith and courage,
To the enclosed regions in these times,
Hidden springs and rivers of that long ago time,

Hidden in their veiled misties ot the twilights stars where the sky was a wide oceans of panorama,
And all was fair in love and war,
And all we did was breathed the essences of that pure energy.

We were the assembled dusts of the time,
The grit of steels againsts these wavering skies,
The unwavering souls of destiny,
Fighting for these spaces in pure sins or energies,

We were kissing down the rivers,
Holding hands in the churches,
We ate with our childrens,
We danced in courtyards beneath a night of rain, swollen skies of anger and calamities,

The prince of energies and the times of disconnects,
And all in love and war, was fiery and passionatein the romantic songs of poets,

How i wish to the return to the yesterdays, when i was young.
