Uche Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Uche

Uche, where are you?
For i am using my free will to serve mankind;
And i will always remember you.

The care of Machpelah is like,
Four hundred shekels of silver;
And i will always remember you.

Your presence in Lagos was a blessing to us all,
But your lonely lover is still waiting for you;
And you are like a nice picture painted with beautiful words.

You expanded your love to al but now,
You are nowhere to be seen;
And, i will always remember you.
