The autumn stained leaf drops carefully
To the dark floor below.
It sits alone waiting for the first fall of winter snow.
Forever in a day it speaks no words.

It lay’s in her eyes,
That misty longing for more.
It sparkles in her eyes,
That feeling I hold and adore.

The false plot of a love untold,
Unfurls to see light for the first time.
Naked, it waits to be sold,
To the unsuspecting masses.

So the boy left for his
Journey to the end.
Even though he knew this,
He could no longer pretend.
