New Love; Broken Heart Poem by Aaron Priestly

New Love; Broken Heart

The false plot of a love untold,
Unfurls to see light for the first time.
Naked, it waits to be sold,
To the unsuspecting masses.

Split on the floor there lays a heart,
Tormented by lies.
What a way to depart,
As a lost life hidden by a guise.

No cement, No glue, Nothing but you,
Can fix these wrongs.
Sat alone nothing left to do,
Listening to those special songs.

Night comes and goes,
In the space of a day.
Your love has stoped its flow,
I find nothing left to say.

I must say I know how you feel. Good pen on paper.
