Gone Poem by Aaron Priestly

Gone

Rating: 5.0

Happy dreams of me and you,
Happy times through and through.
Hand in hand, stuck like glue,
When the days seem many and true.

As ghosts of the future,
And remains of the past.
We venture together,
Trying desperately to last.

Yet my days are nearing,
Nearing to a glorious end.
Closing eyes shed no tears,
When the heart has love to send.

Hand in hand, stuck like glue,
My biggest loss is leaving you.
