Anticipation of our performance mounts,

The twinkle of laughter
like bells in the wind.
Its her I look after
She's never sinned.

Feelings inside not being let out,
unable to hold back my tears.
Inside my heart, fills up with doubt
yet still, nobody cares?

Doubt in my abilities,
things you wouldn't know.
Time for your apologies,
Yet, they never show.

She is the book, the page, a single word,
often judged by what's on the outside.
Sometimes, her meanings blurred,
often missing the bright side.
