And evil scours the land
And men of weaker stature kneel
Men of valor stand

My wife sleeps soundly in her bed
On bended knee I kiss her head
And then a single tear I shed
For I must go to war

I hear the wind
I feel the rain
I see the storm
Still unafraid

Running towards the edge of the cliff
The wet grass whipping at your legs
The dark trees stretching to a blur
As breath and anticipation race
...

I remember falling from so high up
But I hit the ground without a sound
Dead
Dry
...

If you're holding on to something precious
And you feel it start to slip
Get a grip
If opportunity is knocking
...

I used to have a lot of dreams
But when I grew up my dreams got wings
I wanted to be so many things
Not a wanna be, but reality stings

Early in the morning
It's still dark outside
Although it's already a new day
