Mira Graves Poems

“Look closely at the horizon so endless,
tell me what it is, that your eyes see.”
Gently resting on the mizen, action-less
a dear and close friend asked of me.
...

Tis all what great kings seek,
the power and jewels from their lands.
Yet they dislike everything that is bleak
and thus, they rage war with indisputable commands
...

The silent tears that mark my cheeks,
will never be seen outside of me.
My quiet cries and sufferings,
shall be seen as carefree happiness.
...

On cold winters night,
fighting with all their might,
fearless warriors in their right,
run with laughs to join the fight.
...

In my soul’s darkness,
I found a strange warmth,
that was in all it’s aggressiveness,
welcomed deeply, thats the truth.
...

Waking up to a gloomy day,
far away from the month of May.
Fighting battles as a way,
to rid yourself of every dismay.
...

For years have I been by thy side,
Did you not see my shadow?
Did you not feel my longing?
Did you not take me into account?
...

Mira Graves Biography

Hi, my real name is sofia deustua, but i want to become a writer so i decided to have a pseudonym and after much thought i ended with Mira Graves. So, if in the future any books come out (though it will be in alooooot of years if it happens T.T) , u know it was me =) . I was adopted in Chile and have an Argentinean nationality. My father is Peruvian and was born in Mexico (my family is so weird) Xd. I have travel around the world a lot, but would like to go to other places. I get inspired really easily but at the wrong moments like, during a test, when I'm doing something else in which i have no means to write, in the cinema... it's awful. And when i try to put my ideas on paper, I get writers block.... Life is so not fair. Hope to get your support! !)

The Best Poem Of Mira Graves

Lost Hope

“Look closely at the horizon so endless,
tell me what it is, that your eyes see.”
Gently resting on the mizen, action-less
a dear and close friend asked of me.
“All that I always envision, is the vast sea.”
was all that I, sadly and exhausted said
fighting back the tears, sure to be shed.

“Why such a grim face you make?
you should know, that all is not lost.
Leave behind that nightmare and awake,
only then, can your fears away be tossed
so your soul, can safely reach the coast.”
While his words echoed in my locked mind,
I could feel the coming of a favorable wind.

“See? There is still some luck with you.
Look, what is that graceful thing? ”
He asked, pointing at the sky so blue.
“It is but a bird, slowly and tired flying.
But, why such sad tune, does it sing?
Does it too, have much to grieve,
that it's nest, it had to painfully leave? ”

My companion, to my answer fell silent.
“You are still, blinded by your sorrow,
for the way that the bird flies, is violent.
Yes, towards it's fate it heads like an arrow.
And it's tune. Ahh masters, will it overthrow.
It does not grieve, for there is no regret.
You were once like that. Or did you forget? ”

I knew what is was that he had meant.
Yet all that was buried, by cruel deception.
“Yourself you would be, if not for that event,
your mourning and sulking, strong addiction,
must end, or it will become your perdition.
Regain that which was lost and so dear,
but do not dwell, in what is not yet near.”

I listened, but was still troubled by doubt.
“To have back that which was misplaced,
to the end of the world, would be my route.
Even if the risks were the worst to be faced,
even if all I had, would have to be replaced,
I would face every danger to get it back.
for there is no joy, in having a soul so black.'

“Having said this, why do you doubt so intensely? ”
Demanded my friend with a look full of reproach.
“Because, that which I have lost, is exactly,
that that'll give me the strength to my goal approach.
It is the key to wake my heart, the same key out of reach.
It is what, with the turmoil in my body, makes me cope,
for the forgotten treasure I have buried is my hope.”

A/N: I do not know if I should continue or if I should just leave it there. I feel like it should continue but I love the way it ends. Any suggestions?
(I apologize if there are grammar mistakes. Please point them out so I can correct them!)
