032711F curiously watching
i was watching hungry faces
line up quietly waiting turns
paper plates and utensils
laid neatly on their hands
brightened eyes and smiles
are contagious so as desires
music playing wanting to dance
i could see by moves of their feet
they love to; even their plate is full
few have recognized me with wave
i motioned i'll be with them sooner
as you can see i'm a good observer
