i was sitting by the corner
listening to tribal poets
speak their minds in rhymes
they're are so quick versing
continuous without breaking
they take turns rendering

thye're my elder cousins
today i thought about it
if i got their talents in me
maybe it is, they'll laugh
yes, i grow up like them
but they never wrote poem
