the gentleman reach out with his hand
we grip, look at each other i understand
i found the woman with child, she's happy
she can go home and be with her family
i reach from deep of my heart and my pocket
i give her what she might need for a week
she was in tears, i bow my head and pray
i ask blessing for her and health for the baby
deep inside i'm touch, i ask thanks to my god
i could be anywhere by now but why here
in the middle of nowhere, too far from sea
maybe to see that there are still hearts today
