i see light inside my mind
so sharp could certainly burn
through thoughts of the world
of innocence craving for relief
they won't receive, they're to deaf
like a beetle nut between teeth
i need a bridge to walk to cross
with full confidence never dared
with my bare-feet i want to feel
roughness of cobblestone's edges
let it cut beneath and i bear the pain
i will write my blood on the plain
