i went to shoreline
to watch low tide
takes its course
i want to know
how fast it could
drain the lake

there are times
flow seems to stop
no reverse flow i saw
this process, invitation
to wild fowls close by
to hunt small crustaceans

fishes are smart they
left before the drain
it's a surprise to see cat
peeking through rocks
i took picture of moss
covered rocks; beautiful

next i would be with slr
and zoom lens for record
it's too risky maneuvering
between files of granites
just to get close to focus
there's oil on seaweeds
