heard
words of concern
echoing in my ear
motherly instinct
flickeringly warm
i sense

bless those
loving heart and arms
embracing the young
showing wonders
of life and beyond

i clasp my hands
begging for more
like her

now, i long
to be hug
with those
caring arms
i can wait
