(1) Sun Dress Poem by Uriah Hamilton

(1) Sun Dress

I will invite the sunlight
to saunter with us down lazy streets
every wondrous summer afternoon.

I like your bare shoulders
exposed and ecstatic in a sun dress
on an avenue of flowers.

Your soft and peach-blossom scented hair
caresses the nape of your neck
and a thousand boys begin to dream.

I'm dreaming, too,
that a destination
of uninterrupted happiness
is not impossible.
