I pledge allegiance to the flag of the Divided States of America,
And to the Republic as long as its Politically Correct,
One Nation, every man for *Person*self,
With censored Liberty and Social Justice for all, almost.
Corrupted ambition hath poisoned Liberty's dream,
Neighbors hate for no reason but because they are so told,
The dollar is meaningless, and plastic is king,
This is not the home that I remember,
A not so subtle dust steeped deeply on the TV stand,
Photos, faded and crooked on the wall,
Emptiness where the doors once stood tall
This home is not a home but a shell of what it once was.
The realter wants to restore the home,
Citizens calls the realter a racist,
Apparently, the home Is too white for the HOA,
And there are brown homeless in the streets,
Whos needs arent met, but no one wants to pony,
City Council meets to replace the realtor,
Not for the townspeople's sake, but out of self-interest,
The townspeople are conflicted on who to follow,
The unfiltered Realtor or the selfish Council?
Time will ultimately tell, sand in a glass
Falling until it doesnt
