~2021~ (Fall Of Fraud) Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

It's...
The beginning of 2021.
And unmistakably,
The falling of fraud.
Has begun to begin,
An ending of duping.
Along with accomplices.
Insisting their reasons,
Have merit to cause...
Further legal investigations.
And the falling of fraud,
Should allow them more time...
To put their misdeeds,
On a permanent, if not...
A sustained to maintain pause.

Yet...
The falling of fraud,
Has brought to all...
An unexpected gift.
For everyone to get.
With unwrapping away,
Layers of deception.
And years of lies disguised to tell.
There it is.
TRUTH!
Shining bright.
As if the eyes to smile,
From an innocent although knowing child.

And this enlightenment to experience,
For many never to have witnessed before.
Showers them in the midst of it.
Opening minds.
Once shut tight.
As if to have been,
Locked behind stubbornly closed doors.

Leaving those older and familiar,
With the reality of truth.
And years to have had it missed.
Cheer:
"It's...
The falling of fraud.
It's...
The exposing of it and its accomplices.
It's...
The season of truth,
That has produced this gift.
With a doing of evidence.
For all to witness this! "

And so it was,
In the year 'twenty twenty-one'...
For many disbelieving.
Their lives to live had begun,
With deception, lies and corruption exposed.
Out and in public.
Lowering noses.
To have been kept high defending pretentions.
Seeking...
And with never before seen urgency,
A doing to rid themselves...
From impressions to make.
Based upon false appearances.
And the following of those,
Living to commit fraud, division and corruption!

As if...
This self anointing,
Is proof enough...
To permit and allow,
This accepted to forever exist.

"But...
What about,
The possessing of wealth,
And status of it to acquire and obtain? "

-And...
What about,
Integrity to earn it.
Honesty, truth and its credibility,
To have it earned? -

"This...
Fall of fraud,
Promises to leave...
Many finding it difficult,
When their 'normalcy' to discover...
Has also removed,
Their entitlement...
To continue to delude themselves,
As 'deities' of the 'Universe'."

-This too,
Is going to require...
Tolerance and patience.
With a mental adjustment,
To know the difference between...
What has been deluded.
And it craved to addict as if reality.-

"That may be a task,
Many will refuse to believe it too challenging.
However...
If left animated to computerize.
And left colorized to explain.
Their maybe hope,
For the many who rely upon cartoon characters...
To keep them updated,
To the ever changing times we live.

Although...
Left will be others,
Sitting in positions of leadership...
Refusing their fraudulent lives to live,
Has been threatened by truth.
And they will do 'anything' to dispute reality."

-That is impossible.
No one is that out of touch! -
