It was half past ten
Of thirty ten
When the little stone ran
Ran towards citadel
Ran towards hotel
Ran towards brothel
Ran towards cathedral
Carrying red coloured flag
As smiles of thousand mothers were slaughtered
And singing little birds were fled
The mercenaries had a dream
Paint a sunset in the red sky
They found the brush near the graveyard
They found the paint from across the land
Pleading November rain the red stained dove cry
She has a role to play
In the game of deception and slay
For flying high in the circling sky
(A tribute to the victims of serial blasts in Assam, India,30/10)
Pleading November rain the red stained dove cry She has a role to play In the game of deception and slay For flying high in the circling sky, IT ONLY GENERATES COMPASSION FOR THOSE WHO DO SUCH AN ACT FOR REWARD OF NOTHING.. ONLY HUMAN TRAGEDY....... I BLEED FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO LOOSE THEIR LIVES FOR SUCH ACTS... BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED AND I LOVED IT.....10 READ MINE BULLET PROFF.....PORA PORA PORA.....MARTYRS
sad but true.... informative as well as innovative.... ....i may not be broad enough to understand the true rage and pain enflamed in your heart but do take note of the awareness spread through this...... thank you for exposing pains for an Indian.....
An empathic poem and I register my prayers for the victims and …thank you to bring alive us from slothful psyche …well poets are mirror of pre and contemporary events …vigil as Conscience to Roar against such atrocities … when peace will come…still poets’ nibs will never nip off…from scribble.. 10 Ms. Nivedita UK
Yes. A nice poem. Feelings well expressed and it should be always like that these hateful actions all over the world to be condemned by people through their words of feelings. I'v e also written one on the terrorists who attacked Mumbai on 26.11.2009. That is not yet posted here, I will do that and would request you to read it - title of that poem is 'Before You Die' Thanks for sharing. Gautam
