5th Wedding Anniversary...... [nicknames For Wives; How To Upset The Wife; Very Short] - Poem by Bri Edwards

In less than 2 weeks it's number 5 with my dear wife number four.
I've had twenty wedding anniversaries, maybe even more.
And if my current wife were to read this, our fifth could be our last.....since
if she knew I referred to her as number 4, she would surely be aghast.
====================================== ===

fast-forward a few years and i have changed the poem (including correcting a 'typo') to this:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

In less than 2 weeks it's number 5 with my dear wife 'number four'.

I've had twenty wedding anniversaries, .....maybe even more.

BUT if my current wife were to read this, our fifth could be....

our LAST....since.....

if she knew I referred to her as 'number 4', she would be aghast.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I THINK THE POEM SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. she hasn't read it, yet.

in case things don't add up for you: wife #1 about 10 years; wife #2 about 5e years; wife #3 about 5 years; this wife 5 years.

bri :))

gee,3 years later i found a typo. i had 'its' for 'it's'. oops!

    It does indeed speak for itself. If she reads it, fine. If not, then it can't hurt her. (Report) Reply
