874. Only one of my senses...

Hearing you smile
from distant miles
melts away barren spaces
amidst my wasted isles

oh weave your magic
unleash tidal forces
release burdened sighs
cradled in one fleeting call,

had never imagined
bridging the silence
spanning vast spheres
of our secluded cosmic voids

lost plenteous possibilities
of cherished reunions
prospects of rendezvous
now seem bleak and sparse

yet

hearing you smile
from distant miles
melts away barren spaces
amidst my wasted isles
