9/11, Eighteen Years Poem by Sandra Feldman

9/11, Eighteen Years

Rating: 5.0

Yes, we still
Remember!
Tearfully,
With throbbing
Pain
And always will!
The cowardice,
The murder,
Of Innocence,
And Innocents
That leaves
An emptiness,
A chilling sorrow
So very present,
Never forgotten!
Today or Tomorrow,
Impossible to fill.

RIP

My heart goes out to All who lost loved ones.
And deepest gratitude to the Heroes that saved
so Many.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Please look up A.F. Branco on Twitter. The great cartoonist created a beautiful memorial that expresses pictorially what words cannot say.
My little poem was inspired by his painting.

It was 2001 when I saw on TV the terrifying news about the World Trade Center deadly attack. A significant poem, dear Ma’am Sandra....10++++

Poignant yet beautiful poem. A great remembrance for those whose lives have been sacrificed due to heinous crimes...terrorism. Beautifully written as always.

, , , this sight so thrilled some that they elatedly danced in the streets overjoyed praising their god for making this possible....of course the media for the most part don’t like this fine print being mentioned as they enjoy a good dance, themselves, I hold the liberal media in more contempt than those that danced at the death of women and children’s death at the hands of so called holy men! ! !
