965 Together Poem by V F

Why do we need someone
To love, to care to be there?
When each one is born alone
And has to die alone…..
We have to fight our own battles
Each victory or defeat is only ours
Then why the need for family
For friends and company?
Its because God has made us that way..
No flower blooms alone……
No grass springs up solitarily
Birds, animals, raindrops and all
Were not meant to be alone
We were made for each other
We were meant to be together
