A Call To Eternal Peace Poem by Charles Ayitey

A Call To Eternal Peace

Some may call it a painful experience
To wretched families, a moment of vice
But what it truly is
Is an escape to eternal peace

A life well lived
Moments most treasured
Yet measured in sadness
Life is a journey but stranded in pieces

It remains a mystery
A work in progress just ending unexpectedly
But life is a call to war
Death, a call to eternal peace

Why cry the death of a loved one
After he or she had suffered the pain of life
Ask them how it is now
They will show you how free they are now

Death is an eternal peace
An endless journey to explore
It's a larger sea of ease
Until them death will always be a mystery
