A Devil Is Here Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Devil Is Here

Rating: 4.3

Think of devil and he is here
Mt friend was rushing from somewhere
We used to make jokes on him often
He was not getting angry even then

He may emerge all of sudden
Render the advice even if not taken
Insulted some times for unnecessary poking
He was made target of simple joking

We did enough to annoy
On the contrary He will laugh and enjoy
He will create some funny scene
We too enjoyed it and were very keen

He was only to be trusted
He can’t be so easily ousted
He had created a unique position
To do without him was out of question

We couldn’t think of anything without him
He was for us sun rays or its beam
We loved him so much and admired
He took all insult and got most of the time fired

Some special friends are like brothers
They sometimes create tension and bother
Still we prefer to remain together
In grief they provide us good breather

We nick name them as devils
In fact they are not at all evils
They have become inseparable part
It may pain us if they really depart

Lot of things have been said
Still so much remains to be unsaid
It is one of the greatest moments
We align it with out all the movements

In our critical times, we long to stay
Nothing forces us to take it away
It is human bond coupled with strong attachment
There can’t be derailment or any detachment
