A drinkers wish
Make a wish
While you drink like a fish
Maybe the lady in red
Will descend on your lips with a kiss
Before the bouncer throws you out
Of the club in one piece

Beautiful poem, I love it.
Hi Sylvia,
The Bacchanalian cries beckons.... I'll drink to that
Perhaps it's worth the throw from the bouncer
Cheers
So true a great big ten from Me.
My 10 goes for you....
Naw. Let the bouncer have someone collect up all the pieces! Drinking like a fish...Hmmmm. I could make comments so much easier! The lady in red weighs 400lbs...so, indeed, let her kiss him. This is a funny, anytime poem. It just was read when I needed more caffeine...now, I don't. Goody one! xxElysabeth
Nice lighthearted verse.
As a Scot, this could be our national anthem! Slainte mhath (cheers) . Thankyou for your comments on my work, it is much appreciated.
