Nandhiyarvattai (CrapeJasmine)
She's a dancer in group
Skirted all by sheeny greeny troupe
Gentle sway in gentle breeze
Her razzle-dazzle dance to gentle whizz
She's mercy waxed with whitened glow
Sapped in secret love with sun's blow
Petaled pentad in milky glue
Wonderful splendour, night's fragrant view
She's a sacred bloomer, appear all year
Handy ever for a pooja worshipper
A daybreak friend you meet the first
Soil tolerant super Nandhiyar,the foremost
Gentle sway in gentle breeze Lovely poem dear madam Merry Christmas
So totally Indian and thematically beautiful. A quite spiritual contentment in the reading. Hope to visit more often to read the other poems you have written to savor the moment of peace.-Baru Gobira
You are the Moonbeam, The Carnation of country, you bloom You bleed milk when broken Poet has cutely given your description. Mother, at your feet, are offered The devotion, with clustered flower, while five petaled. Nice is this way of tribute to Auroville Mother.
Nicely written piece Indira...i have a weakness for this flower...for its five-petal purity! i nurture a bush type miniature variety in my garden...flowers in abundance! Thanks for this good work...10
