There is nothing more beautiful
Than the sky at daybreak
The brilliant swirls of color
That nature can create
There is no more perfect way
For the day to start anew
Than to look up in the sky
To see what’s there for you
A pallet of delight first thing
In the morning as you rise
Heart-stopping colors
Are such a sweet surprise
A perfect way to start the day
As we take our coffee cup
Look at the brilliant sky
Soon after we wake up
So enjoy those precious mornings
That gives such pleasure to you
Like a fresh new beginning
As each day starts anew!
Bleary eyes and cup in your hand Try to focus from where you stand You shall see colors and colors grand pick up the brush, the brush of life and paint every grain of sand with colors of sky, you shall fly to far far away...pleasure land

My Mother used to sing 'Oh! what a beautiful morning, oh! what a beautiful, oh! what a wonderful feeling everything is going my way', on beautiful mornings. Just the word fresh evokes a new beginning and your imagery is really special. Thanks Marilyn top marks

Marilyn I'm going to print this poem and hang it up somewhere to remind me to read a poem a day from you. They say the things an ideal friend would say to another friend. And thanks for your comment on my poem. I'm new and I admit that my confidence has been a little shaky.
