A Gas Stove Poem by Indira Renganathan

A Gas Stove

Rating: 5.0

A gas stove
doesn't show
The sun nor the moon
Not even the gas nor air

She is busy
muttering her
Prayer
He's busy
Uttering his
Anger

Time has a goad
Rightly to herd

Gas stove always
Shows fire of
Hunger
