And I wonder how you're doing right now
Do you still feel the same somehow?
Are you lying in bed, thinking of me too?
Or am I just hopeful for things to be anew?

Tell me; is it now just unrequited love?
Should I let pass, what I'm thinking of?
All the things I shouldn't have said and done
Are slowly becoming regrets that can't be undone


But maybe it's time for me to let this go
Is there anything else I need to know?
Is this how our story ends?
Never lovers, never friends?
Tell me what you think and how you feel?
Was it just a reverie or was it something real?

I think it's time for me to say goodbye
To let you go and see you fly
Be happy with everything that you do
And maybe someday, you won't forget about me too
