Pretty Little Lies Poem by Marlon Tan

Pretty Little Lies

Rating: 3.0

And I sit here, wasting my time,
Thinking of all the crazy moments
We've shared
The what could've been
The what should've been
Those pretty little lies you've placed
In my head

Leaves me broken, leaves me empty
Leaves a residual feeling that you were once here
By my side and in my arms, but now you've disappeared

So I set you free and let you leave
Telling me its the only way for you to live
But time will tell the answers of our trials
One day you'll forget about me, someday you
Wont remember this love
