A Lavender Orchid Flower - Poem by Nick Kler

Some flowers remind me of my brother
In every season
they change their color

Some remind me of my mother
Always there to love and smother

Some flowers resemble my son
Calmly resting by the river bed

Some flowers remind me of my God
Busy feeding the honeybees

Some flowers resemble my Goddess
Feeding hungry crows
from her lonely cottage

Some flowers are like my friends
They sting every time
I try to cress them

Some flowers take my breath away
I wana take them with
Into my grave

Some flowers remind me of my lover
So pure as brown sugar

Some flowers resemble my daughter
A lavender orchid flower

The title attracted my attention. It was perfectly selected. You paint a very vivid picture witb your words. Very well written. (Report) Reply
