A Life Brand New, A Life With Out You Poem by Celeste Nicole Sanchez

A Life Brand New, A Life With Out You

What is mine, is promised.
What you think of as yours, was never there.
A life I have earned.
A life you currently don't deserve.
I hold the key to where I go,
No longer can I be deceived.
For a life remade,
For a past to change.
New brought in,
New replaced.
The old...
wasn't exactly forgotten.
Rather used.
Through all the rubble of it's destruction,
A few usable pieces were found.
They then formed small pieces of the ground.
So out off all the experiences, Good, Bad, or Indifferent.
Still was something learned.
Not everything is helpful at that moment,
but eventually it comes to use.
Not to throw all that away,
but to not revive it either.
Most of it has faded,
without mobility or surviving.
Only the few still wanting to be saved.
Still wanting to live right,
Will remain.
Though they try to strive for life.
Unless their intentions be good,
they will not survive.
