Inspiration, From Reading The Bible, From My Dream

As I woke up this morning I did My morning routine. Read My Daily Devotions, fed My animals, took the dog outside, washed My face, brushed My teeth, and got on the computer.
Normally after I got on the computer I would go watch some television; but today was different. I got off the computer because I remembered what a member from My Bible Study group had said. She had highlighted and wrote down a few things from the first book of Corinthians Chapter 13. I started thinking about the dream I had last night while I was writing down some of the verses on little sticky notes. In my dream there were these 2 infants I was pushing around in a carriage or stroller type thing. I remember how I wouldn't let them go; I wouldn't let them out of My sight. We were in an elevator; I think someone of some sort of significance to me had told me to make sure we made it safely. So I listened. I had a bad feeling during the elevator ride. And when people started coming aboard trying to touch them… I pulled them away, and put my entire body over the carriage. One of the guys in the elevator had said, 'It‘s just a baby.' I don't believe I even responded, I just kept them safe w/ My entire body as a shield for them… even as the building collapsed. I protected them. I didn't even worry about myself, just them. I remember feeling remorse for the people in the building as they were dying and being injured to the building collapsing. And that made me think about God, and his Love. How God is Love, How I am love. In God's sight, we are small infants in a dangerous world full of sin and deception. And how God protects us with His Body, His Son, Jesus Christ. He made the largest sacrifice possible, so that we could be freed from this world we live in. Free from the sin. He sacrificed His Son to give us another path. When I think about life, I think of two paths. I picture a highway going the opposite direction of this small, much narrower, grassy farm road. The highway leads to a quicker, more pleasing life on earth. While the farm road is a happier road, a road to Heaven, to God, to a spiritually pleasing life. The highway is centered on time, riches, fame, and sin. It is usually congested, with collisions, and pain everywhere. Lots of confusion, and anger raging from people, They're not always able to get where they want when they want…so pressed for time. Also highways have many exits, and I must admit that I was once on that highway to hell. Until I found an exit. I cried out, and found it. So if you are on the highway, you can get off anytime you chose, you just have to cry out for God's help. To where as the small farm road, the road I believe myself to be on now, is very grassy and fruitful, and colorful, and pleasing in a more relaxed sense. Incredibly blissful, and even though it is so pretty, sometimes the grass can over grow, and the path becomes hidden. That's where the word of God comes in. With out the word, the over growing grass may become home to a serpent that tries to strike you down so you can't continue on. That's why reading the word; (God's sword, as a very intelligent young woman once told me) comes in handy. By following the rules and laws in the best way you can, you can use it to trim back the chaos. To keep the farm path well kept so that the road to heaven, to God, stays visible. So that even if you feel something tempting you, you can remember how important and valuable God's Word, God's Sword is in your life. I am so glad to be who I am today. And I wouldn't have become this person if God, in the mysterious ways he works, had brought me to The Connection Church. I am so thankful towards God, and everyone he works through for bringing me so far. Thanks for reading this. God Bless!
