A Long String Of Choices Poem by Joshua Hudson

A Long String Of Choices

What choice would you make
If you had to choose
Something to gain
And something to lose
Some cash or a friend?
Your friend or your girl?
Your pride or your life?
Your son or the world?
Kids or Career?
Health or Achievement?
Honor or Power?
Death or Bereavement?
You chose to be
Who you've been so far
Each choice that you make
Shows who you are
Selfish or Giving?
Brave or Afraid?
Thoughtful or Careless?
Loyal or Swayed
Add all your choices
And see what you've made
It's your life
What you did
With the days that God gave
