The years came and went and days swam past
The sands of time just whiz by so very very fast
Before I knew it my life was nearing the winter
And I still longed and ached for a true love to enter
But I had never thought about it much these past few years
Untill I one day saw you and and bound up all love fears
For it was very quick and certain that you were here for me
And there was no where on this planet that I wanted to be
Except next to you holding you close and feeling the love
As our hearts grew perfectly and are a gift from above
I never could imagine the majesty of a feeling so great
Your love for me and my love for you was well worth the wait
