A Love Story Poem by Innocent Angel Mendoza

There’s this girl who knew this boy and they were together then a day came that they will always remember it all started off with the girl asking the boy three questions 1st she asked him if he thought she was pretty? The boy shook his head and said no.2nd she asked him if he would want to be with her forever more? The boy shook his head and again said no. Finally she asked him if she were to leave his side would he cry once more the boy shook his head and said no. The girl had heard enough and began to cry, but before she could run the boy had grabbed her arm he looked in her beautiful eyes and told her the truth is this:

Your not pretty your beautiful like the moon and the stars at night, that I don't want but I need to be with you forever more and that I’d die if you ever leave my side so baby stay with me cause your my everything

The girl looked at him as he kneeled down and touched her hand the boy took a deep breath and closed his eyes but with his heart beatin' faster he knew this was his only chance so he opened his eyes up then kissed her hand as the girl so confused he began to say you know that I love you more than the air that I breathe so please say yes when I say will you be mine as my wife? The girl smiled with tears in her eyes and said I’d love that the boy got up and whispered in her ear he told her to remember those words he said before like:
