A Mother's Prayer Poem by karin collins

A Mother's Prayer

Precious baby, joy & love,
Sent to her from God above,
Gently as if from a dream,
Floating on the breath of spring.

A wonderment of quiet grace,
With peace and virtue on your face,
Here to grant a mother's prayer,
A converging bond so blessed & rare.

Please be kind; mistakes she'll make,
But your heart she'll never break,
And through your eyes she'll see it's true,
That God exists in what is you.

So little one so innocent,
For which her life was truly meant,
Know that you are joy & love,
An answer to her prayers above.
