A Mutual Feeling Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

A Mutual Feeling

No longer can I find,
Spending more of my blessed to have...
Precious time on nonsense.
With anyone enjoying b.s. to keep treasured.

I have accepted my decision to make,
May offend those endorsing immaturity...
With unrelenting faith.
But I can only pray that my decision,
To stay ignored.
Becomes a mutual feeling,
That remains respected.
And agreed upon to be left that way,
For the rest of our decision making lives.
